Reject and defective AI-generated images are easy to come by! Here are a bunch more from the cutting room floor as we work on this trading card game (TCG) look and feel.
It’s important to remember that AI models reflect the biases and stereotypes of the cultures producing the training image datasets. That said, on to the rejects!
So, it’s pretty easy to spot the mangled proportions and grotesque/strange anatomies. A little less obvious are the well-composed images that happen to not fit the visual themes or overall tone of this particular project. In this case, we felt that so-called boob-window armor, for example, sets the wrong tone and sends a potentially harmful message to young women of all kinds. So, reject! 😀
